Clay-At-Home: Leaf Mug
NOTE: All products are available for pickup only at our Corvallis, Oregon studio.
This project is great for all school aged kids up to adults. Younger than school aged kids will be successful with some parental help. This project can be done in about an hour but can take a bit longer with careful work.
Each kit includes:
2 lbs. of wet clay in a bag
1 modeling tool
1 length of embroidery floss (18”)
3 pattern pieces
1 paper clip and a square of cardboard
Glazing and firing are included. (You will choose a stain color for glazing blue or brown)
You will provide leaves, scissors and a rolling pin.
Optional: alphabet pasta can be used for text impressions. A paint scraper can be used to smooth the clay slab. A piece of ScotchBrite can be used to smooth the leather hard clay.
Please pick up your order within 1 month of purchase and return it for firing within 6 months of purchase. These kits are packaged for immediate use and can dry out if not used in a timely manner. Unclaimed kits will not be refunded.
